Inspected previously assembled ailerons. Noted that the overall width of existing ailerons is larger than plans called for. Drilled out rivets in tip rib and trimmed skin to proper dimensions. Removed lead counterweights from ailerons and tested fit with wings. Noticed that aileron piano hinges are installed incorrectly and will likely need to be replaced.
