Temporarily installed control stick assembly. Pressed SF-812-3 bushings into stick to idler bar and control frame then installed idler hardware permanently and stick hardware temporarily. Verified freedom of movement and clearances with idler bar. Pressed bushing into elevator push rod ends, clecoed forward pushrod support to cross ties, and checked clearance of elevator push rod. Found that pushrod was contacting hole in rear spar carry through and top of aft tail bulkhead. Filed a little material from both areas and verified movement of pushrod through full elevator travel. Set elevator in full down position with stick 1/16″ short of full forward position and clamped both halves of the elevator pushrod together. Transferred existing holes in push rod end to pushrod assembly then updrilled to 3/16″. Installed AN3-12A bolts into pushrod assembly and torqued to spec. Verified clearance and travel of elevator assembly; checked good.
