Continued to trim canopy by taking small bites with 80 grit sandpaper and scotchbrite die grinder. Cleaned edges with deburring tool after each cut. Trimmed canopy so that majority of it would fit in between windshield and turtle deck. Once rough trimming was complete, drilled pilot holes for clecoes looking through canopy at bows. Started drilling and clecoing from top center and worked about half way down each side. After drilling and clecoing a hole, further trimmed both front and back edge to maintain a 1/16″ gap. Multiple rounds of trimming were needed as the canopy became constrained and pulled towards the canopy frame which pushed the edges out a bit. On RH side, removed spacers between canopy frame and hinge and marked cut line for RH side of canopy. Removed canopy and made big cut. Aligned canopy between frame and hinge and pilot drilled RH hinge holes through canopy.
