Leveled fuselage using wood blocks under tail. Clamped aluminum extrusion and spacers to axles and measured axle height from top of upper longerons. Began drilling RH axle. Realized part way through that toe in was not being measured from front of fuselage but a different angle; had to abandon hole. Did more research and changed squaring procedure by using aluminum angle and wood risers. Drilled new hole in RH axle at 45 degree angle from the original one and started with hand drill. Removed gear leg from fuselage and finished hole on drill press. After re-installing, realized hole was not drilled square and resulted in toe out condition on RH axle. Will need to scrap RH gear leg and axle and try again with new parts.
