Wing Rigging – Part 3

Finished drilling main wing attach holes by using drill guide to drill 3/8″ holes in forward wing attach angles (from back to front) then updrilling each side to 1/2″. Wing pins fit it snug and wings do not wiggle on fuselage. Realized rear spar carry through was installed backwards so flipped it and made temporary 3/16″ pin out of an AN3 bolt to pin rear spars to carry through. Clamped rear spar attach fittings into place and pilot drilled into carry through. Removed carry through from fuselage and updrilled attach fitting holes and upsized rear spar holes to 1/4″. Updrilled rear spar holes to 1/4″ while installed in fuselage with flexible drill extension. Also drilled and located F03-07 spacers onto carry through. Re-clecoed everything together then installed then pinned rear spars through carry through. Rechecked wing incidence angle by using spar stands and digital level and pilot drilled rear attach angles to fuselage sides. Located shear angle below rear spar carry through then pilot and updrilled to lower crossmember and carry through.
