Clamped F23-01 tail wheel mount into place on vertical stabilizer and transferred and upsized mount holes to 3/16″. Created F21-02 temporary spacer from 3/16″ angle stock for tail box assembly. Mounted, pilot drilled, and clecoed F22-06 angle between #5 cross ties leaving pace for F22-02 aft shear web assembly. Removed lower vertical fin post channel from vertical tail assembly and installed F21-02 and T09-03 spacers onto channel to simulate vertical stabilizer spars. Assembled vertical tail post, tailwheel mount, and T12-06 angles with spacers to simulate tail assembly and fit to tail cone box assembly. Noted an approximate 1/8″ gap between rear bulkhead and tail wheel mount. Studying plans, it appears that rear bulkhead side holes were incorrectly drilled and rear bulkhead will need to be replaced so tailwheel mount sits flush on bulkhead. Have ordered new F23-03 bulkhead and F23-03 forward lower mount angle so tailwheel mount will sit flush with bulkhead.
