Completed assembly of LH wing rib installation by prepping and riveting forward and aft ribs #6 – #12. Rear spar deburred, cleaned, and riveted to rib assembly. LH aft root rib riveted to rear spar. Hours Worked: 3.49

Attached W17-01L assembly to main spar. Bolt direction altered from plans to account for rivet interference. Starting inboard and working outboard, attached forward and aft ribs 1-5 to main spar and riveted into place. Forward ribs scotchbrited, acetoned, deburred, and dimpled. Assembled LH ribs to main spar and clecoed in place. Rear spar attached to aft ribs and up drilled to #30. Rear spar set at 19″ from wing station and locked into place with brace. Forward and aft ribs up drilled to #30 at main spar Hours Worked: 2.32

RH Wing Rib Assembly – Part 4
Completed prep and installation of #1 and #2 forward/aft ribs and installation onto main spar. Tubing support plate installed on both forward ribs. Dimpling skipped on #1 forward rib per plans in preparation of doubler installation. Hours Worked: 0.90

Took apart RH wing box down to spars. Deburred and cleaned both main and rear spar. Began assembling wing ribs starting from #12 and working inboard. Deburred all holes in both forward and aft ribs, scotchbrited scratches, and cleaned with acetone. Forward ribs had holes dimpled for forward skin. Forward/Aft ribs #3-#12 complete. Lightning holes…

Squared wing on level workbench using scrap wood and 3 levels chordwise. Levels blocked up with 2×4 on rear spar to ensure contact with spar cap peak. Up drilled aft ribs to rear spar holes and clecoed into place. Hours Worked: 2.72

Wing Rib Spacers – Part 2
Mockup assembly of aft ribs, center spacers, and web spacers to spars and all pilot holes drilled through components. Creation of “skin simulators”. Need to check rib position yet. RH aileron bell crank assembly lubricated with white lithium. Hours Worked: 3.23
