Completed assembly of LH wing rib installation by prepping and riveting forward and aft ribs #6 – #12. Rear spar deburred, cleaned, and riveted to rib assembly. LH aft root rib riveted to rear spar. Hours Worked: 3.49

Took W16-06 aft rib and modified it using template from plans into W16-11 aft root rib. Removed both forward and aft root rib attach angles to insert root ribs then temporarily reattached. RH Wing Rib Assembly – Part 3
Took apart RH wing box down to spars. Deburred and cleaned both main and rear spar. Began assembling wing ribs starting from #12 and working inboard. Deburred all holes in both forward and aft ribs, scotchbrited scratches, and cleaned with acetone. Forward ribs had holes dimpled for forward skin. Forward/Aft ribs #3-#12 complete. Lightning holes…

Aileron Bellcranks – Part 4
Drilling of holes in -13L/R and -14L/R vertical channels. Both -10 bell crank assemblies created. Two washers per assembly needed to get castle nut aligned properly. Completed -01L including final riveting and lubrication of pivot with white lithium grease. -08 clip heights on vertical stiffeners set by using right angle from rib face. -01R clecoed…

Aileron Bellcranks – Part 5
Used Loctite 638 retaining compound to hold Symmco bearings into place; worked very well. Assembled together angles to create pivot assembly then added -10 bell crank assembly and completed final riveting onto -01R to complete #9 rib assembly. Will let Loctite harden before greasing with white lithium per plans. Hours Worked: 1.71
