Began rigging flaps for final installation by trimming flap pushrod length from 3″ to 2″ to allow more adjustment of rod ends. Removed flap motor from drive tube for easier access and started by testing position of LH flap. Adjusted lower pushrod end to achieve full-up flap neutral position of 2 59/64″ measured from the leading edge skin joint (just like aileron). Repeated the process for the RH side then tightened both flap pushrod end jam nuts and installed permanent hardware on each flap. Needed to trim pushrod openings slightly for better clearance of drive tube. Installed hardware for flap motor and tested smoothness of operation and checked for binding; none noted. Calibrated flap position sensor with digital level and saved calibration in Dynon SkyView system.
