Riveted forward seat pan hinge half to spar tunnel. Marked and located upper seat back hinge half onto cross tie box and pilot drilled. Updrilled hinge, deburred, and riveted. Located rear seat pan centered to ribs and pilot drilled. Located seat support strap on seat attach angles and pilot drilled. Updrilled assembly then located and drilled lower seat back hinge half to seat pan. Removed seat pan, deburred all, then riveted lower hinge half to seat pan. Installed stick cover plate in center location of forward seat pan with CCP rivets. Pilot drilled top of forward spar tunnel to rear spar tunnel then updrilled. Located F16-08 side clips to top of spar tunnel then drilled, dimpled, and riveted to spar tunnel. Vacuumed out shavings from fuselage then reinstalled all seat pan components leaving out rear seat pan rivets per plans. Made rivet blanks to align seat pan without using clecoes. TEMP RIVETS PAINTED BLUE TO BE REMOVED BEFORE FINAL ASSEMBLY. Cut out temporary seat cushions from old mattress pad to test fit. F08 complete! Opted to not make fuselage brake parts pending locating of brake handle later on.
