Continued to trim and fit canopy. Matched drilled final holes in LH side of forward and aft canopy bows and realized that canopy was pulling up the frame in the front by about 1/4″. Unbolted front left corner of canopy frame and added 1/8″ spacer to lengthen the front bow area. Also added rubber washers between canopy and frame to drop frame down a bit more. After resetting canopy frame location, marked cut line on LH side of canopy with masking tape and trimmed. Removed canopy from frame and transferred holes from canopy side trim to LH canopy frame side. Reinstalled canopy onto frame then marked location of latch pass through. Cut out canopy latch arm pass through then clecoed completed canopy to frame. Needed to file latch mechanism a little to remove paint from pivot points. Countersunk latch pin holes in fuselage and installed latch pins. Installed latch onto canopy frame and realized that latch slots would need to have about 1/8″ removed from forward side in order to clear latch frame when closing canopy. Removed material with rotary cutter then filed edges; will need to paint later. Tested canopy latch mechanism and need to updrill pin holes slightly to F size and remove a little more material from bottom edge of latch slots.
