Fabricated panel lights harness for panel light dimmer using Molex connectors to save space behind panel. Opted to branch out individual harnesses for each device needed the dimmer switch rather than bundling components together. Made one extra panel light circuit in case the auto dimmers on the avionics aren’t effective. Installed dimmer switch into panel along with harness. Finished switch connectors for master switch and avionics switch, then installed switches into panel. Cleaned the underside of the glareshield with acetone, then cut LED panel light strip to size, stuck to underside of glareshield, installed Molex connector, and connected to dimmer switch. Installed Molex connector onto compass with solder sleeves and jumper wires since compass wires were too thin for terminals. Temporarily connected bus wires together to check operation of lights and master switch. Installed center panel cover.
