Finish creation of vertical tip mounting flange and final riveting of vert stabilizer assembly. Hours Worked: 4.10
Finished riveting upper hinge half and began test fitting fiberglass tip and making extra flange for removable tip. Planning on getting tip rough fitted and fasteners made and then doing final fiberglass work later down the road Hours Worked: 6.00
Removed existing rudder hinge half from vertical stabilizer, remade, and clecoed into place. Final riveting and tine adjustment still needed Hours Worked: 2.68
Completed assembly of the rudder including final drilling and riveting. Discovered Hinge Half on vertical stabilizer is misaligned and will need to be replaced and refitted Hours Worked: 6.55
Continued to work on rudder skin pre-drilling. 2 of 3 ribs pre-drilled and test fitted. Rudder horn rib remaining Hours Worked: 2.71
Creation of doubler to account for edge violations in forward Spar. Decided that drilling out and replacing forward Spar would be too much work so created doubler to go on back side Hours Worked: 1.70
Manufacture of replacement parts -04 and -06 Hours Worked: 1.18
Inspection of previous work and removal of tip ribs for surface tip installation. Hole issues found in forward Spar and tip Rib. Will need to replace rib tip and create doubler for spar Hours Worked: 1.80
